~Tasogare~

After a few more days Telma was ready and willing to help Trin find a job better suited for the young woman.
It was a slow night at the bar. Trin was sitting at the counter, resting her head on her hands. "You would think there would be more work around a big town like this one." Trin groaned.

She was people watching when she saw someone go over to a small rectangular board on the wall and tack something to it, curious she went over and looked at it. There were all sorts of postings on it, some of them caught her eye, it was a posting for monster hunt, and there was a reward offered "Hey telma what is this?" Trin asked "oh that? its just a bulletin board for announcements but some people look for jobs or offer jobs, see any that interest you?" Telma asked "these" Trin stated holding up the papers she had ripped off the board Telma sweat dropped seeing they were all for hunting monsters. "The reward money is good but are you sure this is what you want to do?" Telma asked "why not the only thing im really good at is fighting, its a perfect job for me!" Trin said

"Okay honey but do one first and see how it goes. If you do a good job you'll be sure to have people looking for you for work." Telma said.

"hmm alright" Trin said looking them over, after a few minutes she decided on a job the was asking for someone to get rid of some poe ghosts that have been lurking around. Telma had packed some food for Trin to take before the teenager took off for her first job

She left to meet the client first and was given bottles to keep the poe souls in.

She stowed the bottles in her bag and left for the location. She made it there and waited until the sun was starting to set, it was then the poe's started appearing

Trin did a sneak attack, if you can call it that, on a nearby poe.

she missed as it dodged out of the way and took off, Trin chased it around until she finally was able to cut it with her scythe, "gotcha you little bastard!" she laughed triumphantly as she held up the bottle she had stuffed the poe spirit into, it shook angrily trying to get out "well thats one, still plenty more to go" Trin said

~Two hours later~

Trin was carrying a bunch of jars with poes inside, laughing. "This might become a hobby."

"they are rather fascinating" she said looking at one then shaking it before tossing it in her bag, she made it back to castle town and went to get paid

After she got her rupees she went back to Telma's bar.

Telma was working behind the counter when trin plopped the bag of ruppees on the countertop "first hob was a success!" Ahe claimed proudly

"Good for you, honey." Telma said. "So is the request board where you're going to get your jobs for now on?" Trin thought about it. She couldn't see herself doing any other kind of work. She wasn't cut out for a normal job, working at Telma's bar was proof enough. "Yeah." Trin said with a nodd.

"alright if thats what you want" telma said she got Trin something to eat. "you are still welcome to stay here if you want" telma said as she watched trin gobble doen her meal. "ffanks!" Trin said her mouth still full

~Chapter Two~

It was a year later, Trin was now 17 and had been making money by collecting bounties from the announcement board. She started renting out a room at Telmas since she still didnt move out to find her own place, most of the time she would camp out in Hyrule field or wherever she was out on a job.

Trin was at Telma's bar having a meal while talking to the owner. She had just finished a job, she had been gone for a week.

"This job was a bit of a toughy redeads and everything! but I got that graveyard cleared out" she chatted as she ate.

"I'm glad you came back alive." Telma said. Trin laughed.

"of course!" she grinned after washing down her meal with some milk. "ah I'm looking forward to some rest then back to work I go" she said leaning on the bar

After a few minutes the mailman came trotting in. "Excuse me are you Tinity Ossa?" He asked. "Who's asking? And it's Trin." Trin said basicly answering the question. "I have a letter for you from your father." The postman said.

"feh...I don't want it" she said said frowning and turning around "but it is important! and I must deliver all the mail!" the postman said unsure of what to do "here I'll take it for her" Telma said knowing Trin was going to be stubborn, she didnt know everything but she knew enough to know that Trin did not have a good relationship with her father. the postman sighed but handed the yellowed envelope to Telma. she flipped it over "it has a black seal" she commented when she flipped it over. This got Trin's attention, her clan only used black seals when there was bad news.

"Intrested in reading it now?" Telma asked noticing Trin reconized the meaning of the seal. The teenager didn't say anything but relunctly took the letter.

she tore the seal and folded open the letter. her eyes scanned the words on the paper, Telma noticed the subtle changes in her expression, but she finally just gave what sounded like an irritated sigh as she crumbled up the paper throwing it on the ground as she grabbed her stuff and headed for the door "honey where are you going?" Telma asked concerned "nowhere" Trin muttered as she slammed the door closed.
