~Tasogare~

Trin wandered the streets of Castle Town, lost in thought. She kept rereading the letter in her head.
"Why should I go back." Trin muttered under her breath. Trin entered the public square in the middle of the city. She sat down on the edge of the fountain. She rested her chin on her hands, weighing her options. It never crossed her mind that she would ever have to go back to her village or that she would be called back for any reason.

But she still was processing the message of the letter, her grandfather was dead, she would have never thought that possible the old bastard was hard to get rid of and seemed like he was going to live forever, she counted off the number of times she had told him to drop dead in her lifetime, about 65 times. But now he really was gone and it wasn't quite hitting her yet. Thalos was the only real father figure in her life since her own wanted nothing to do with her. She sat for who knows how long before she gave an aggravated sigh and stood making the decision she was going home as she headed for the gates of Castle Town

It took her a few days to reach kakariko. It was a cloudy day it seemed appropriate for a funeral. The village was quiet, she slipped over to the graveyard and sure enough most of everyone was there. She didn't make her presence known for once keeping to the shadows to avoid being seen. She had been listening when her grandfather spoke to her trying to teach her. No words were spoken as she watched the burial ceremony. It started to lightly rain as they lowered the coffin in the ground. Thalos never wanted a big fancy funeral 'just toss me in a box and leave me to the elements' they seemed to be respecting his wishes, there was a moment of silence as they started to fill in the hole with dirt. Trin stayed hidden until everyone had left before she had gone over to the grave the headstone was simple, in Hylian inscribed was 'Here lies Thalos Ossa, Leader, Warrior, Father, Friend.' then under was his birth date and the date of his death. Trin frowned at how cheesey that was she knelt by the grave picking up a rock and started scraping below it 'and old bastard...' "about time.." she said sitting back when she was done her eyebrows had furrowed in what looked like a face of mourning she bit on her lower lip, her hair was wet and hung limp from the rain but she didnt pay any mind to it as she just stared at the headstone.
